Vacation Bible School at St. John’s – July 10-14, 2016

St. John’s, together with Grace United Methodist, Immanuel Church and Grace Wesleyan, is excited to announce our plans for Vacation Bible School this summer, being held Sunday, July 10 – 14, 5:45pm – 8:30pm.

St. John’s will be the host church to Group’s “Power Lab: Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power”. The “funologists” will have a great time with lively songs, creative crafts, exciting games, interesting Bible stories, cool science experiments and tasty snacks – all the things that make Vacation Bible School so much fun!
Registration is free and children in preschool – 8th grade are invited to participate. (Youth who’ve completed 6th – 8th grade will participate in special middle school VBS activities!) High School youth are encouraged to volunteer.
How can you help? Last year we transformed Grace United Methodist into the Serengeti. This year we will need to transform St. John’s into a science lab! If you have any ideas or items we could borrow, we’d greatly appreciate you sharing them with us! We will be posting our “Helping Hands” poster outside the Chapel, as we have done in the past, with items we would like to have donated to help with expenses.

Of course, we always need volunteers for that week and would love to have you as part of our VBS team. See Mari Frick or Holly Moore for more information. Hope to see you there!
