For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3.1

Date: July 27 – August 1
Time: 9 am – 3 pm (Mon-Fri)
Cost: Free of charge!

Amazing Grace Day Camp is for all children who’ve completed kindergarten through age 12. Registration forms are available at the church officestarting June 1.

Amazing Grace is just around the corner and, as always, we cannot participate in this grace-filled ministry without your help! For those who might be new to AG, this is a wonderful opportunity for children to experience Jesus’ Gospel of love, hope and new life. It likewise provides a camping ex perience for children who may not be able to attend a resident camp.

Amazing Grace is truly a team effort; many hands are needed so that it might flourish. Please prayer fully consider volunteering whether you’re available the entire week, a few days, or just a few hours. Volunteer roles and tasks are listed below.

Please also note that, for the safety of our campers, all volunteers will be asked to sign a Voluntary Disclosure Statement, which will then be cross-referenced with the National Sex Offender Public Registry. A member of St. John’s professional staff will review the information and your confidentiality will be protected.

All volunteers are also required this year to attend a volunteer training session led by Vicar Amanda Highben. Several dates and times will be available to accommodate personal schedules. Please stay posted for more information.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Council Vice President Doug Smith (zhstrainer@aim.com), Vicar Amanda Highben (vicarstjohns@att.net) or Parish Administrator Renee Thorn (reneethom@hotmail.com). We may also be reached by calling the church office: 740.452.7569.

Thank you in advance for your support and help. May God bless us with another transformative week of Amazing Grace!
